A video was shown of Murdoch protesting this decision and Ivan Koloff and Vladimir Petrov said that they hoped that they would face Dusty Rhodes and Nikita Koloff to get revenge. An announcement was made that the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Lazortron had sustained an injury, thus vacating the title with the status of the championship to be determined later in the telecast in a match between the top two contenders.. The focus of the various interviews were towards the upcoming series of Bunkhouse Stampede battle royales and were with Jim Cornette and his Midnight Express, the Rock 'n' Roll Express, Paul Jones with Ivan Koloff and the Barbarian.. The aftermath of Rick Steiner's match saw Kevin Sullivan telling Florida Heavyweight Champion Mike Rotunda to not take any offense to being "the most 'nothing-happening' athlete I've ever seen in the wrestling business," and then proceeding to give him advice and spoke of the Florida title as being a stepping stone; Rick Steiner was listening to Sullivan from the ring; and the show ended with the announcement that the Bunkhouse Stampedes would begin on December 1st with the first one taking place in Monroe, Louisiana..
