This recap follows the rules of total disclosure. There is nothing to hide and certainly nothing that I am ashamed of in the least.
I accomplished what I set out to do and that was to show the scene that this thing we call a "business" was never run like a business
until I put my money where my mouth was and showed everyone how it was done.
The critics of the show were right in one regard. The holiday weekend killed me on attendance. Add onto that the fact that it poured
rain until 9pm, and it was a recipe for a low turnout and that is exactly what we got. 52 people in attendance with 46 paid.
A financial hit for BT? Sure. You won't see me boo-hooing about it though because the result of the show was worth every penny spent.
However, I did lose 7 lbs in 1 day. Why? Because I was running around setting up chairs and building barricades, and everything else in between.
Thank you to all of you who volunteered your help when you saw that I couldn't do everything by myself like I wanted to do.
The production on the show was the best that money could buy, just like Pete said. Not to mention that I spent more on catering for the locker
room than other promotions spend on paydays for 3/4 of their roster combined. Again, worth every penny because the boys saw that their promoter
was a worker who provided a locker room for the workers from a worker's perspective. If they were hungry, they were fed. If they were thirsty,
they had beverages. Everybody was fed well, paid well, and in return, gave me 110% and wrestled as if they were headlining WrestleMania.
That is all I could ask for.
The only thing that angered me at all last night was the fact that someone was so spineless and gutless, as to pull a no call/no show, despite the fact
that he confirmed to be on my show 1 week prior to the event. Tony Rican completely blew off my show. I guess he must've taken one of those
paydays that was being offered to skip my show. Because of that, a couple things had to be rearranged at the last minute, causing my show to start
10 minutes late. I apologize for that but it was out of my control.
Now on to the results.
BT opened the show for the first edition of Primetime with BT. He recapped the history between himself and Gavin Dunn and explained
how they used to be running partners who had the same thought process. He called out Gavin Dunn to answer his questions. Gavin came out and was
berated by BT for caring about what these "stupid hillbillies" thought about him. Gavin explained that when they teamed up in CCW,
Gavin blew out his knee and despite his requests for BT to tag in and save Gavin's knee from more punishment, BT refused.
Then Gavin explained that BT didn't even call to check in on him after his injury took place. BT said that he didn't have time to hold the
hand of every baby that got an "owwie" and that he was busy in Hollywood making deals with Jim Cameron and admiring J-Lo's booty at Jay Z's house.
BY told Gavin that they could move past this and all would be forgiven as long as Gavin signed a new contract to be part of
Seriously Dramtic Entertainment part 2! Gavin took the contract and ripped it up right in BT’s face to a loud cheer of approval. BT got in Gavin's face and told him that the wrestling business was not American Idol and the fans don't get to pick who's the next superstar, but that BT picks who is or isn't a superstar in this business. Gavin told BT that it's funny that he mentioned American Idol because BT reminded him of
"That Sanjaya Kid". Gavin said that while Sanjaya didn't have the pilsbury dough boy gut that BT had and that Sanjaya's tan was a lot better than
the spray on tan that BT uses, BT did have some things in common with Sanjaya. Gavin said that both BT and Sanjaya had ridiculous hair,
and that neither one of them had any talent! The crowd was loving this. BT was not, and slapped Gavin in the face. Gavin grabbed BT and delivered several bionic elbows to his head and back body dropped BT, who made a quick exit. Gavin grabbed the mic and said that since BT
doesn't like his new attitude, why didn't BT try to give him an attitude adjustment later in the show. BT said that he wasn't going to give
Gavin what he wanted and that since BT is full of surprises, Gavin would have one later in the night.
* Justin Adams beat Jason Dukes ended with the young Adams getting the pin on the veteran.
Sonny Rogers was the special enforcer ref for this match and Jason ran down the laundry list of their past history.
Sonny, having trained Dukes, knew what to expect during the match and every time Jason tried to cheat, Sonny stopped him from doing so.
A very entertaining match that lasted nearly 15 minutes with back and forth action.
The ring announcer, Tom Treiber, then brought out Erica D'Erico and interviewed her about her return to Chicago.
Erica came out looking stunning in a very classy black dress as a nod to her past Princess of Darkness persona Drusala.
Erica told the fans where she had been and what her goals are now that she has returned home.
Treiber then asked Erica what she had to say to all of her fans who think she is the greatest female wrestler of all time.
In the middle of her gracious response, Sosay came out and confronted Erica. Sosay told Erica that the only reason that people would dare
say that Erica was the greatest was because Erica has never beaten Sosay. Sosay mocked Erica's accomplishments and said that she won the
WCPW woman's title in easy fashion in her first match ever against Sexy Sandra D. Sosay then ran down all of the talent from OVW
that she has managed or wrestled that has went on to WWE. Sosay challenged Erica and the 2 were about to go at it until referees
Terry Hopper and Sonny Rogers ran in and kept them apart.
It was then time for Los Mexicanos vs The Cold Brothers. The Cold Brothers were even more impressive in person than their photos give them credit for.
These guys were huge. Remy Rainez and Rudo Cortez had the speed and power combo going for them but The Cold Brothers were just raw power.
The Cold Bros were in control for most of the match, even outpowering the big Rudo Cortez. Stone Cold got the pin on Remy Rainez while Ice Cold
fought with Rudo on the outside. After the match, The Colds were not done punishing the popular Mexicans as Stone continued to beat on Remy.
Rudo Cortez had enough and grabbed a chair and hit Stone with it. It barely phased him but it got him to turn around. As Stone stalked Rudo,
Remy got a chair of his own and cracked Stone again, causing a little more damage. Los Mexicanos delivered a double clothesline that sent
Stone Cold out of the ring. Ice Cold grabbed his brother and held him back. The Cold Bros are certainly a force to be reckoned with.
At this time, Ring Announcer Tom Treiber announced there was to be a BISEP Inc. Special Presentation and called Steve Boz and Gavin Dunn to
the ring as well as CSE Board Representative John Raines. Gavin Dunn mentioned that there was a fan in the crowd who had shown over 4 decades
of loyalty to the art form known as professional wrestling and 5 years ago, managed to even put cancer in a headlock as the man was not expected
to be with us here in 2007. Gavin Dunn then announced that they were presenting the BISEP Inc. Award of Gratitude to Pete The Pup.
A teary eyed Pete left his seat in the crowd and accepted his award in the ring to a great ovation from the crowd. A truly memorable moment in BISEP Inc.
After that was intermission so the fans could get some concessions.
When the show resumed, it was time for Jeff Luxon vs Steve Boz with Sonny Rogers as the special enforcer ref. Both guys were in phenominal shape.
This match was every bit as good as people knew it was going to be. The only surprise came when BT made his way to the ring and started cheering on
Jeff Luxon. BT and Sonny exchanged words and insults throughout the match. Luxon gained control midway through the match and maintained it until
Boz was able to hit his super kick that nearly knocked out Jeff Luxon. As Sonny was about to count to three, BT pulled Luxon's foot onto the rope.
Sonny didn't see it but Boz did. Boz was arguing with Sonny about the oversight and BT pulled Luxon out of the ring. Boz came out and gave BT a
thunderous chop on his back. Boz threw Luxon back in the ring and Luxon tried to pull himself up on Sonny. As Sonny was distracted, BT dove at the
feet of Boz as he was trying to get back into the ring, and wrapped himself around Boz' feet. Boz could not get in the ring and Sonny could not see BT
laying on the floor. Boz got counted out and Jeff Luxon gets the win thanks to his apparently new manager BT.
Next was the Ladies Match between Erica D' Erico and Sosay. These women showed everyone why they both want to lay claim to being the best female
wrestler in history. They spit in the face of the typical "cat fight" and put on a wrestling clinic. Both women are exactly what they say they are.
However, tonight was not to be Sosay's night. Despite being in total control at the end of the match. Erica caught Sosay with a surprise small package
and got the win. The fans popped huge for it too. At this point, Sosay completely snapped and attacked Erica. Sosay brought a chair into the ring and
was about to DDT her onto it when Special Enforcer Ref Sonny Rogers ran in and helped Terry Hopper get Sosay off of Erica. The ref's then helped Erica to the back.
It was now time for the main event. BT comes out and has Acid Jazz with him. Jazz was supposed to wrestle Tony Rican on the show. So when BR saw that
Jazz didn't have an opponent, it was then that BT offered Jazz a huge sum of money to Wrestle Gavin Dunn in the main event. Gavin Dunn came out, with
Sonny Rogers in tow. This enraged BT, who stopped the show and said there was no way that Sonny was going to referee this match and that if Terry Hopper
didn't come out to ref the match, then BT was going to sue BISEP Inc. for breach of contract! Hopper came out and Sonny begrudgingly returned to the l
locker room. You could tell that BT was really upset by what had happened. The match starts and Gavin maintained control throughout the match.
BT got in a few shots on Gavin in the meantime. Gavin regained control of the match and out of nowhere, hits Jazz with the flying burrito forearm smash.
BT got in the ring as Gavin was about to get the pin and caused the disqualification. Jazz and Dipshit start attacking Gavin and Sonny runs back out and
grabs BT by the waist and throws his down. After 8 years, fans were finally going to see BT and Sonny square off.
Sonny stalked BT and as BT got Sonny to tunr his back to the entranceway, Jeff Luxon comes in and attacks Sonny. Jeff and Jazz end up holding
Sonny and BT rammed a chair into Sonny's gut. BT, Jazz, and Luxon do the same thing to Gavin, and this brings out Steve Boz.
The ring is cleared and Boz grabs the mic and says that since the 3 of them like to run in a pack, how about the next BISEP Inc show, Luxon and BT take on
Boz and Gavin Dunn. BT accepts and the 3 of them leave. Boz, Sonny and Gavin Dunn stand victorious in the ring and that brings a close to the first ever BISEP Inc. show.
