I-8
The Interstate Eight Tournament of Champions is a tournament that has featured and will continue to feature some of the finest wrestlers to ever grace the squared circle from the Chicago independent scene and surrounding areas. The first show took place on June 14th, 2002 and saw Brandon Bishop defeat seven* other grapplers to become the first ever I-8 Tournament Champion. After much success of a new concept, the promoters of the event decided to form another show called the Chicago Power Series in which local federations would enter teams to claim fame to which organization is supreme in the Chicago area.

TEAM DAMMIT w/ Riot d. THE VANILLA SHAKES w/ Tracy Brooks by PINFALL
-The Shakes afterwards had words for their manager and she even slapped Bill E. Valentine.
CRU JONES d. STEVE BOZ by DQ
- The fans were solidly behind Boz in this one as he and Jones went toe to toe for nearly 15 minutes. The finish came when Jones brought a chair into the ring, and while the referee was looking in the opposite direction put the chair on his chest and dropped. When the official turned around, he blamed the "chair shot" on Steve Boz, earning Jones the dirty victory.
AUSTIN ARIES d. DANNY DANIELS by PINFALL
- Daniels and Aries went back and fourth for 20 minutes electrifying the crowd. Aries caught the pinfall to the delight of an explosive crowd.
THE VOID EFFECT d. THE TOP GUNS
- The fans were thoroughly behind the Top Guns as they made their way to the ring. The Void Effect insulted legendary tag-teams, current tag-teams, fans, athletes, and just about anything they could while on the microphone before the bout. In a very physical bout Jason Allen took severe punishment. The Void Effect took advantage of the inexperienced, younger team, and constantly cut them off from tags and double teamed Allen. When the big tag to J. J. Drake finally came through, he cleared house and set up his partner for their finisher. Zero had a different idea, though, as he threw a fist full of powder in Allen's face, botching the finisher and scoring the fall for the Effect.
SIX MAN SPECIAL
DANNY DOMINION, ERIC PRIEST & BRANDON BISHOP d. STEVE STONE, JULIAN THE WARLOCK & RICKY STRYCNINE
- Priest and Dominion introduced the fans to their partner by saying he's the only man who had a body that could match with theirs, and announced themselves to the I-Pro fans as "Caged Meat." This match saw the brains of Dominion, Bishop, and Priest and their vast experience take over. They continuously brutalized opponents in their corner and took to illegal ways to get the job done. Finally as Steve Stone was getting brutalized, Strycnine and Julian The Walock exploded. They knocked Bishop and Dominion to the outside and then they leaped out of the ring with twin Superman splashes to the outside, Dominion getting destroyed by Julian and Bishop getting plowed by Strycnine. This brought a quick burst of energy to Stone, but not long enough as Priest put him away for the 1-2-3. After the match all hell broke loose as chairs started swinging and the six men went crazy on each other. Stone and Priest brawled all the way to the back, Strycnine and Bishop exchanged vicious shots, and Julian and Dominion broke chairs over each other's heads. This feud is far from over.
MAIN EVENT / I-PRO HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
CM PUNK d. SHAWN DAIVARI
- CM Punk made Daivari tap to his submission at 21:03 in the match. Throughout the bout the two stretched and twisted each other with submissions, and it took no time for the fans to start taunting Daivari. With the crowd firmly behind him, Punk fired away and locked up Daivari and made him quit. Punk was presented the I-Pro Heavyweight Championship by senior referee Terry Hopper.
